I'll overwhelm 'credible combatant' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two time unified boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
